Synopsis
HYPERTAIPEI is a 3DoF Virtual Reality installation that questions our perception of conflicts and their existence in the form of images. Set in a dystopian near-future where the relationship between China and Taiwan has exploded into a Virtual Reality World War, HYPERTAIPEI questions our political relationship with the image through a journey through the streets of Taipei, drawing inspiration from the rich and diverse Taiwanese mythology and folklore related to spirits, ghosts and creatures.
